Keeping up your Old Mate's physical capabilities is important for their physical health, in avoiding injury, and in improving their mental health, too.

Ice Skating is a relatively low-impact (barring falls) way to stay fit and is super fun.

Your chances of finding an ice-skating rink are likely to be proportionate with the size of the town you're in. So, if you're in a rural town, this activity might not be possible.
